re: Raid Times, Rules, Add-ons, and Loot!

At this time, <Wicked Tribe> is a 10-man Normal raiding guild. We are not looking to progress through Heroic modes, though if we feel inspired to make attempts at Heroic modes on raids which we already have cleared and on farm, it may happen!

ALL raid nights start at about 6:45pm server time. Doomhammer-US is a Mountain Time Zone server. Note that this means 8:45pm on the east coast!
Thursday: Primary raid night, clear as much as possible!
Monday: Secondary raid night, finish up what is left, or if cleared host an alt raid!

All players should be on and available at around these times when possible. Our raid duration is typically 2-3 hours, depending on how much urge we have to get "just one more boss!" Delays happen, we understand, just let us know if you are going to need some time! We promise to not have the Hunter Misdirect-Feign the boss to you... often. :D

External Programs

Ventrilo: We require all raid members to have and use the Wicked Tribe Vent Server server during raids. You are not necessarily required to speak up, but you should be able to hear us and listen to any raid call-outs.

Deadly Boss Mods: While not required, we highly recommend using DBM to help keep track of boss timers and so on.

Decursive: Also not required, but it is highly recommended that you have and use Decursive (or some other equivalent add-on) to manage debuffs.

LOOT

"WT doesn't have loot whores... we have regular whores, and they are all well-paid." ~Kam

All players can expect that loot distribution to be as fast and as fair as possible to everyone in attendance, based on a Master Looted mixture of Member /roll, Need-Before-Greed, and Loot Council as a last resort.

A Note on Loot: We try to spread the drops around; if one is unlucky on the dice rolls, or happens to be high-rolling, it will even out. In <Wicked Tribe> we have a recorded habit of having reverse loot wars: "You take it," "No, you take it, your current piece is worse than mine," "But it is more properly-statted for you!" "BUT I JUST GOT THIS OTHER PIECE!" ... These are much more fun than the other type of loot war! :P

BOE Loot: Generally, with BoE drops--especially off of trash, we go on an In-Raid Character Need > In-Raid Character Off-spec Need > Greed priority system.
Whoever wins on a "greed roll" may do with it as they please.

Disenchanting: We will not disenchant an item if it is usable by someone in attendance (even if it is for an off-set), and Enchanters may not claim "need" for their profession.

Attendance

Generally, we try to work around and include everyone over time. Raids require 2 tanks, 2.5 healers, and 5.5 DPS, and as long as these requirements are met, we try to rotate in people who have not been able to go in recent weeks as needed.

- Players who will be available on all raid nights for that week's lockout may be taken as priority over others who are unavailable for one or more of the raid nights.
- While we do try to have full buff coverage, and spread out our classes so as to have less loot conflict, <Wicked Tribe> is still a believer of the ideal, "Bring the player, not the class." If you really want to play a certain class or character, bring it! Just be aware that if you are swapping both a class and a role, you may need to either cover that role yourself on your alt class, or ask someone to step in to cover for you.
