Amazing lecture (links inline with article from io9). Makes one think about the future of security and privacy...

An HOUR long video? TL;DR
Okay actually I did watch it. Preeeetty much just confirms a bunch of stuff I already assumed was happening. xD
I honestly was not surprised by anything in the video, and I expect there is still more being done. People up there are on such a power trip, they will never come down or do the right thing.

I watched a good portion of this and can't say I am surprised. Personally, let them spy, countries/people have been doing it since time began and they are not going to stop. Does it matter? yes, should it matter? yes, do I care? no. Which may make me part of the problem. Am I concerned that the NSA is reading my email or listening to my phone calls or monitoring what porn sites I go to( i hope they enjoy midgets), nope. Should they be doing it...probably not, will it ever stop...probably not.
