re: Naxx-o-matic

Wake up, ppl- this isn't "Naps-r-amas"

Invites are going out fifteen minutes early from now on, and we've been pretty good about starting on time, but there's still room for improvement as we integrate new members. Fifteen minutes should be enough time for a boss, so we shouldn't just be "clearing trash" at a quarter til the hour.

Recollections from last night; Patchwerk again posed no real problem even though we were "DPS-challenged"-- we beat him with 42 seconds to spare (and my early calculations said only 30 seconds, so we all pulled out a few tricks, lucky charms, rabbit's feet, and crits there at the end). Frogger croaked a couple people, as always, and that was a bad sign of things to come. /facepalm

Grobbulus was a mixture of subpar DPS (on adds) and bad luck (i blame cats), but there were still people getting turned around and taking turns "oopsing" and dropping poison clouds in the middle of the room which we all had to make quick adjustments for. A win's a win though, and we all should remember just how important organization, teamwork, and staying positive is. (That and Jim's Scrap-Bots!)

Because... Gluth.

The next boss ate another chunk of time out of our evening which could have been avoided. Please pay attention and don't release right away until it's called; it takes way too much time for dead people to "rrnr" (release, repair, and run back)- especially when we die to gutter-slime or Frogger repeatedly (either while we're on Grobby or mopping up after a Gluth attempt) This isn't the wing to slack in at all.

We were a bit challenged on raid composition again and kiting duty reflected that; it took two of our DPS off Gluth with help from two others to keep the Chows CC'd while tranquilizing the boss's enrages. Third time was a Victory though... barely: a "Zero-second, half-court Hail-Mary"

Tonight even- was like "silver and bronze medal night" at the special olympics as it repeatedly took two swings at every single god damn boss; even the "easy ones." Invites were out by twenty after, but we were only beginning trash a half hour later. We had our moments where everything flowed, though, like a good dream... and speaking of dreaming:

It wasn't all bad, no; but enough of it was- that I'm not gonna give anyone the Boy Scout "Pack Leader: Atta-Boy"-- we have significant room for improvement on these two Quarters, and we know it. That's good. Thanks, Vil, for the suggestion of starting with Constructs and the Military Wing next week.

Let's Do It Right, the First Time! We will make it; with equal doses of preparation and persistence.

Thanks WT
